When my friends and I visited Bangkok, we wanted a hotel that would make our trip as comfortable and convenient as possible, and the Ibis Hotel Siam Bangkok exceeded our expectations. With its renowned brand and prime location, this hotel is the perfect choice for budget-conscious travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient base in Bangkok.

In this quick hotel review, let's take a closer look at the room and amenities offered by the Ibis Hotel Siam Bangkok, and why it's a great choice for travelers looking for a budget-friendly hotel in Bangkok.

This hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok, just minutes away from popular tourist attractions such as the Siam Square and MBK Center. The hotel's location makes it easy to explore the city by foot or by public transportation, and it is probably why their rooms are usually fully booked.

A Budget-Friendly Option in the Heart of Bangkok's Tourist District

Experience the convenience of staying in the heart of Bangkok with a stay at the Ibis Hotel Siam. Our 16th floor room offered a stunning view of the National Stadium, making it the perfect spot for sports fans or those looking to catch a glimpse of the city's skyline.

Despite its small size, the room was compact and comfortable, with a bed that was firm and conducive for a good night's sleep. The hotel also provides two bottles of mineral water each day, which can be found in the room's mini fridge. The bathroom was on the smaller side, and the water heater temperature was inconsistent.

However, it was not an issue to us as we only came back to the hotel to sleep and the hotel's prime location more than makes up for this. The National Stadium BTS is just next door, guaranteeing a seat on your journey, whether you're heading to Sala Daeng (Silom), Chong Nonsi (CBD), Saphin Taksin (Central Pier for ferries), or beyond.

One of the highlights of the hotel is the swimming pool, which is located on the rooftop. The pool is the perfect spot to take a dip and relax after a long day of exploring the city. The pool also offers a nice view of the city skyline.

Although we didn't opt in for breakfast to be included in our room booking, there are many reviews on Agoda mentioning that the buffet breakfast was satisfactory, with a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. Guests can also enjoy their breakfast in the open-air terrace, enjoying the fresh air and the view.

For those looking for a quick bite, there is 7-eleven located right next to the hotel lobby, and many small local eateries just a short walk away, and a mini cafe across the road (next to MBK) which opens at 7.30 am.

Overall, whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, the Ibis Hotel Siam Bangkok offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and value. The hotel's prime location makes it easy to explore all that Bangkok has to offer, with convenient access to public transportation and popular tourist attractions.
