Fremantle Bakehouse

Located next to the bustling Fremantle Markets, this cozy cafe is a popular spot on weekends, with crowds flocking in for their delicious coffee and baked treats. However, during our visit on a Monday at 8am, the cafe was nearly empty and we were able to fully enjoy the enticing aroma of fresh coffee and baked goods as we walked by. If you're looking for a quiet morning spot to grab breakfast and coffee in Fremantle, this cafe is a must-visit.

What We Ate At Fremantle Bakehouse

During my visit, I ordered the Chocolate Shake and Iced Coffee for AUD$5.60 each, as well as a Classic Hot Chocolate for AUD$4.00. I was pleased to see that the cafe uses paper straws instead of plastic ones, which is a great eco-friendly choice. Well done for taking steps to protect the environment!

My brother opted for the Veggie Breakie, which costs AUD $17.50. This delicious dish includes a choice of eggs, avocado, tomato, mushrooms, homemade beans, and baby spinach, all served with toast. It's a great option for vegetarians and those looking for a healthy breakfast choice..

My husband opted for the classic Toasted Bread with Eggs, which costs AUD$7.90. You'll get to choose your preferred type of bread from wholemeal, rye, sourdough, and more. Additionally, you can select how you want your eggs to be cooked, whether sunny side up or scrambled, to ensure that your breakfast is cooked to perfection. It's a simple but satisfying choice for those who prefer a classic breakfast option.

If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love the French Toast option on the menu, which my mom ordered for AUD $10.50. Served with a generous drizzle of maple syrup and mixed berries, this dish is a perfect balance of sweet and indulgent. It's a great breakfast option for those who prefer something on the sweeter side.

For myself, I decided to try the Ciabatta Traditional Tuna Sandwich, which costs AUD $8.90. This tasty sandwich is filled with tuna, mayo, lettuce, tomato, carrot, cucumber, and beetroot, and comes with a choice of bread. It was a satisfying and affordable option for my breakfast.

Before leaving, I couldn't resist grabbing a bag of homemade chocolate chip cookies from the counter for AUD $2.50. It was the perfect sweet treat to enjoy on-the-go and satisfied my craving for something sweet.

Our breakfast experience at Fremantle Bakehouse was a great start to our Perth trip. The variety of delicious food options, eco-friendly practices, and friendly service made for a memorable dining experience. If you're ever in the Fremantle area, we highly recommend stopping by for a visit. Start your day off right with a satisfying breakfast at Fremantle Bakehouse.
